Amanda D. Zelechoski, Ph.D., J.D., ABPP Consultant

Amanda D. ZelechoskiAmanda D. Zelechoski (zell-uh-husky) is a licensed clinical and forensic psychologist and attorney. Dr. Zelechoski received her B.A. from the University of Notre Dame, her M.S. and Ph.D. from Drexel University, and her J.D. from Villanova University School of Law. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at The Trauma Center at Justice Resource Institute (Brookline, MA) and is board certified in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology. She has worked clinically with adults, children, and families in inpatient, outpatient, and forensic settings.

Currently, Dr. Zelechoski is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Valparaiso University. She teaches a wide variety of psychology and counseling courses and provides clinical supervision to graduate students. As the director of the Psychology, Law, and Trauma Lab, her primary research interests include trauma in at-risk and delinquent youth and forensic mental health assessment. In addition, Dr. Zelechoski is an associate editor for Law and Human Behavior and provides training and consultation to numerous mental health, law enforcement, and correctional agencies.
