Dr. Mina Ratkalkar is a forensic psychologist and therapist in Durham, North Carolina in private practice. Her primary area of research and consultation is culturally responsive practice for attorneys and mental health professionals. She also conducts forensic evaluations at Central Regional Hospital, a state hospital in Butner, NC. In addition to her forensic practice, Dr. Ratkalkar is a Certified Sex Therapist (CST) specializing in therapy and evaluations involving consent, sexual behavior, and neurodiversity. Dr. Ratkalkar is licensed as a psychologist in North Carolina and Hawaii. She is licensed as a clinical social worker (LCSW) in North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Florida. Dr. Ratkalkar supervises social workers and psychologists seeking licensure and is a supervisor for the Gil internship program through the department of psychology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
